Happy Chinese New Year
Thou shalt not fail as a writer
because the very act of writing is the best protection
from the madness of the world.
- Charles Bukowski, Feeling Fairly Good Tonight
Wishing everyone a prosperous Chinese New Year!
Lots to update on, really soon!

And all the men and women merely players. "

I have been busy as usual with work 3ce a week, pre-CNY shopping outings with friends & cousins,
the latest launch at misscarlet, dance, Japanese, lessons etc etc! 窒息! (suffocation)
Today is a day off from everything. 感謝して!
Spent the morning going through all my old magazine issues to donate to the Salvation Army.
Tore out beauty spreads that inspired me.
Then it was Japanese homework time!Writing Japanese gives me a 頭痛 sometimes!
Anyway, just wanted to thank all those who have been concerned & tagged,
I'm alright, don't worry! Thanks a lot for the lovely words & your concern!
ありがとう! (Thank you!)
I've been doing a lot of shopping recently, spent a lot of money!!
CNY is just round the corner. And a month after that would be release of A Level results.
I'm pretty sure I'll do quite badly, with inconsistency and the level of difficulty of the papers.
Don't really wish to think about it at the moment and just enjoy whatever freedom & happiness I have
left before the nightmare starts! :S
Recently quite lazy to update my blog frequently because my life seems pretty mundane.
Of course there are interesting events & stuff coming up but just not at the moment.
Have got to do a big revamp for misscarlet's site for 2009 - hopefully tonight!
Currently now in negotiations with some overseas manufacturers, hoping that I can rush out a few
self-designed pieces before CNY, but looks like it'd be really hard as China's factories are
going to be closed like 1-2 weeks in advance before CNY.
Seems my life revolves around my online store a lot. Not sure if that's good or bad, but it has
provided me with a truckload of experiences & taught me much.

OK I'm off to read February's issue of VIVI (my fave magazine!) for a rest before piano!
Maybe you readers and friends can tell me what on earth you'd like me to blog on! ;)
That'd be quite cool huh.
Leave me a comment below via my Haloscan!Even concealer can't hide my panda eyes :(
(and I know, the top has eyeliner and the bottom doesn't - I still haven't mastered it!)
Leave suggestions on what you'd like me to blog about!
I do have an entry I'd like to do up but it'd be good hearing some opinions!
Much Love XOXO

Suddenly I felt I lost the entire equilibrium in my life.
First time I broke down in 2009.
Well done.

ありがとう!
ありがとう (Thank you) for voting for me
Totally did not expect to win though.

I've not been having the best of luck lately.
I burnt my hand while steam-ironing the clothes in Epunie on Monday.
I dropped my Tiffany & Co. bracelet (new & unworn!) in the cab on Tuesday.
Had a bad dinner at home on Wednesday.
Photo-taking today was exceptionally draggy, tiring & the pictures came out like crap.
Sheesh.
With some recommendations from friends (like Jerrie!), I finally dropped by Kinokuniya on Tuesday before the Crescent Girls' gathering to get these books:
At first, I was thinking I must be crazy enough to buy such self-help books. But after thinking through and reading sections from the 3 books above, I realise they're very good reads and quite enlightening personally, although I think I'm proud enough to say I'm not a failure in the dating arena - yet :3
To date, I've finished the bottom book and I'm starting on the ever popular - " Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus".
Presenting the Crescent Girlies, graduating batch of 2006 ♥

(From L-R): Oggy, Fasihah, Me, Khalisah, Eunice, Cassandra, Yifang, Teri, Xingtong.& apparently, BFF's (SherYan) spirit, cause she left early after dinner back to work.

Really had a kuku and fun time with all of the Crescent girlies, realised how much I actually missed my teenage secondary school years where everything was a lot less jaded and simple.
Suddenly really miss those days, my school, the teachers, the environment..
The days we cabbed to town before Math remedials just for KFC or FEP's chicken rice.
The days we venture to Shell Station for instant noodles and tidbits. (I can still remember the different flavours we all normally choose!)
The days we laugh, talk, pass notes in class and in between lesson times.
Our toilet girl talks, queuing up in the canteen for the food. (I miss the food!)
Life has really changed so much in the span of just 2 years.
I just hope I make the best out of every minute I have with my loved ones and not look back later full of regrets.
Carpe Diem, seize the day!
P.S. misscarlet is updating soon by Monday with a new collection (more exclusive items this time) & there's a backorder for 2 very lovely dresses! Do support! ♥♥♥
